COSC421 is an introduction to models of how human language is implemented in the brain, drawing on research in linguistics, psychology, neuroscience and computational modelling.
The course textbook is A Knott: Sensorimotor Cognition and Natural Language Syntax (MIT Press). It's available for free for Otago students as an e-book. (You need to go through the Otago Uni proxy to get this.)
Lectures are on Tuesday 9:00-10:50am, in Owheo G34.
