A cat door is an indiscriminate, open invitation for visitors, limited only by size. So, who (or what) is coming to dinner?
This talk will describe a simple "engineering" solution to tracking the comings and goings of visitors through the cat door. Based on these results a simple recognition system is developed that can identify those cats that are unwanted visitors, while ensuring no false-positives for the "cat of the house". Treatments are presented to stop (or at least train) unwanted visitors from entering the house. Results for the ongoing change in behaviour are presented.
No animals were harmed in the making of this movie.
