An important factor in technology-mediated psychological treatments is the sense of presence. Although numerous authors have evaluated the relationship between presence and anxiety in Virtual Reality therapeutic applications, only a few studies have been performed to evaluate the sense of presence in Augmented Reality therapeutic environments. The objective of this talk is to present the similitudes and differences when using the concept of presence in these two fields and the instrument we have developed in order to measure this construct.
