For information theoretic security the goto tool is the one-time-pad. However, in some security models the one-time-pad can still be completely broken. One such scenario is when messages are chosen by an inside adversary who has some knowledge about the keys used for encryption. In this talk I will show how it is possible to improve the security of the one-time-pad to deal with such a scenario. I will also give an example from quantum cryptography of how this improved cipher can be used.
