The talk will introduce the architecture, hardware, network connection, software and applications of Tianhe-2 HPC system, which has been the most powerful supercomputer on the Top500 list for six consecutive times.
Professor Chunyuan ZHANG is Associate Dean in College of Computer, National University of Defense Technology (NUDT). He is the main lecturer of a National Top-quality Course, Advanced Computer Architecture. He is a member of Committee of China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education. He is a co-author of two books, two textbooks and more than 20 SCI cited publications. He is the PI of one Key Program, one General Program and two Exploration Program funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the PI of four National "863" High-tech Research and Development Program of China.
