The Role of Computer Science in Biomedical Imaging

Abstract:  Recent advances in biomedical imaging have involved the use of
some techniques of high technology, among which computer science
has played an important role.  Examples of a few important contributions
made in the fields of radiology and nuclear medicine will be discussed to
illustrate the critical importance and high potential of computer science
in biomedical imaging.
