In 2004 the computer science department offered a new paper on computer game design. This seminar will review the paper in the style of a game review, a postmortem. We will discuss the good and the bad, what we learnt and the future for computer game studies here at Otago. Some of the issues that will be discussed are:

There will also be a discussion of the role of computer game development as a capstone course and how it can fit with an interdisciplinary approach to teaching.
