Art Meets Science in Dunedin
GRAPHITE 2005 will be an international gathering in New Zealand that celebrates creativity and innovation in computer graphics. Join us in Dunedin in November for a five-part event where visual artistry meets technological wizardry.
GRAPHITE 2005 will be held at the St David Lecture Complex at the University of Otago. The Opening and Keynote addresses from Graphite 2005 will be available on the Web via live Webcast during the conference. The Opening Session, on Wed 30 November will include the Hon David Cunliffe, Minister for Communications, Economic Development and Information Technology, and the Mayor of Dunedin, Peter Chin. Also presenting throughout the conference, will be Dr. G.J Huang (Director of the Digital Content Industry Promotion Office, Taiwan), Bonnie Mitchell (Art Chair, SIGGRAPH 2006) and internationally renowned CG artist, Yoichiro Kawaguchi. Dunedin is a beautiful city standing at the head of a huge natural harbour. It is the perfect starting place for a trip around the South Island of New Zealand. December is early summer in New Zealand, so after the conference opportunities to visit the beautiful South Island Lakes shouldn't be missed. Geoff Wyvill Downloadable A4 poster ( 276KB)
