I maintain an overview af all the department's technical infrastructure and operations.
This means that I get to help the other technical staff with everything: planning and design of large networked systems, installing and configuring software, and crawling under dusty desks to locate cables.
It's varied and interesting work and we keep a close eye on new technology, always looking for ways to make our systems simpler, faster, and more reliable.
