Data Communications, Networks, and the Internet
Description
The aim of COSC244 is to teach students the fundamental skills neccessary to understand topics relating to Data Communications, Networks, and the Internet.
Lectures
There are two 1-hour lectures per week.
- Tuesday 11:00 - Archway 4
- Friday 11:00 - Archway 1
Laboratories
All labs take place on Thursdays, and are held in rooms G37 (Lab E) and G38 (Lab F) of the Owheo building at 133 Union Street East. There are labs scheduled at 9:00-10:50, 1:00-2:50, and 3:00-4:50.
Tutorials
Tutorials start in the second week of semester.

- You can attend your tutorial in-person where you will get your internal assessment mark for the class
- OR you can do the tutorial online (via Blackboard) where you will get the internal assessment by submitting your quiz and tutorial writeup via Blackboard by the following Monday
