Notes  Annual Contributions

Saturday Morning Music Classes has been operating in Dunedin and Otago since 1968, offering high quality, affordable music education to generations of students.

The Ministry of Education contributes significantly towards payments of tutors of Primary aged students. SMMC prides itself on going beyond this base funding to provide additional lessons across the year and a wider range of learning opportunities. Having chances to perform are a motivating part of musicianship so SMMC provides a range of concert opportunities for our students.

Without the voluntary contributions that we seek from Primary aged children, we could not continue to provide the breadth and depth of our current programmes.
